Which is the best looking credit card? If you think it’s a particular gold or platinum card, you may be wrong! ANZ has recently introduced “design my card” which allows cardholders to design an image that will appear on their card. This allows each cardholder to enjoy a personalized credit card. To own the best looking credit card, you simply need to have an ANZ credit card and a photo or design that you really enjoy.
The ANZ credit cards that offer this “design my card” feature include:
Guidelines for images
Cardholders can choose from a range of images in the ANZ image library, or they can upload an image of their own if they want to.
The guidelines are a little strict about the kind of image you can use on your credit card. The guidelines do not allow the use of the following kinds of images:
- trademarks, slogans, company names, logos or copyrighted material
- branded products or advertising or promotional materials
- pictures of celebrities, politicians and other well-known public figures
- PIN numbers or personal details such as addresses and phone numbers
- sexually explicit material such as nudity or semi-nudity
- violent or other offensive material
Images should be 480 x 480 pixels in order to be reproduced well on the card. Of course, other sized pictures and images can also be used, but they may not look as good on the card. The image needs to be in JPEG, Bitmap, GIF or TIFF format.
You do not need to be an ANZ customer to apply for an ANZ credit card or to use their design my card feature.
Changing your card image
Cardholders can change the image on their credit card as often as they wish. Uploading the first image is free of charge, but each subsequent change of image will cost $15. This includes adding images to the cards of additional cardholders.
If ANZ does reject any of the images you select, they will simply send you an email stating that the image has been rejected along with instructions for uploading a new image. There is no charge for images that are rejected.
Cardholders need to upload an acceptable image within five working days of their initial application, or else the default ANZ card design will appear on the card.
Thanks to ANZ’s innovative design idea, you can now enjoy owning the best looking credit card in Australia!
